Boyd Neal of Nedo, KY, along with his son and friends stayed in one of the beautiful cabins at Everglades Adventures RV & Sailing Resort, Pahokee, FL. On Thursday night, August 16, 2007, they cruised just off the shore of the resort in Lake Okeechobee and bagged the first alligator taken by someone at Everglades Aventures for the 2007 FL Gator Hunting Season. This 11-ft. 4-in. beauty weighed in around 800 lbs. In photo #7, the area between the shore and the small island just to the left of where Boyd's son is standing is where the big guy was caught. Congratulations, guys, great job. I'm looking forward to seeing you next season. I'll be rooting for you to bag another biggie!
